My DIY Escapades
Maybe it's worth saving the money...maybe not. Either way, I've chosen to do as much as I possibly can. I've decided to jump head first into the project land of Do It Yourself.
Vases for Windows
Vases on the left are for the reception windows. Vases on the right are for the windows at the church. My FH helped by hot gluing all the ribbon & he was super excited about it. :)
Our Invitations
I got these on sale at Michaels - only $40 for 100! They came with matching RSVP/Reception Cards & Envelopes. I did the invitations myself using our home printer.
Big Letters
I got a "D" & "R" from Michaels & plan to decorate them using our colors & hang them on the Church doors for the ceremony.
Table Numbers
Using a background stamp from Stampin' Up! & number stamps, I created my Table Numbers. So simple to do! I bought the frames from Dollar Tree.
Card Box?
I'm planning on making our card box out of hat boxes. I've seen tons that I love so I'm hoping to do it. I haven't started yet...so this is a picture of my inspiration until I get a picture up of mine!
Bride & Groom Door Hangers
Using blank door hangers from Michaels Craft Store & various scrapbook stickers & paint, I created the Bride & Groom Door Hangers to be used at the church.
Save The Date Magnets
Using VistaPrint, I created our Save The Date magnets. They came in & we were very happy with the finished product. I recommend VP for anything stationary.
Photo Sharing Card
We created a shutterfly site so that people could share their photos with us & others could order prints. Again, we used VistaPrint.
Rehearsal Dinner Invitations
These are our Rehearsal Dinner invitations. I used VistaPrint to create them - they're great!
