The Tunes

Guest Arrival & Pre-Ceremony

We'll be playing music by the Vitamin String Quartet as the guests are arriving & being seated. This will continue to play until the Seating of the Mothers.

Seating of the Mothers

Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring will play as our mothers are escorted to the front of the church, as they light the Unity Candle, & as they are seated in their pews.

The Processional

My girls & I will be walking to the Vitamin String Quartet's version of Take My Breath Away from their album "A Tribute to Jessica Simpson".

The Unity Candle

We will be lighting the Unity Candle to the second verse & chorus from the song Tangled Up In You by Staind.

The Recessional

We've chosen 1, 2, 3, 4 by The Plain White T's for our Recessional.

The Introductions

I wanted to start the reception off with "I Gotta Feeling" by Black Eyed Peas - but it's a really long song to actually play at the reception. So I figured it'd be a great introduction song & will start the party off right!

The First Dance

The only song we could imagine dancing to on our special day is Then by Brad Paisley. Our love story is very simliar to this one, almost eerily, & as soon as it was released - before we were even engaged - we knew it'd be our First Dance song.

Father Daughter Dance

We'll be dancing to Walk With You by Edwin McCain. It's a song not many people have heard & it's absolutely beautiful. I can't wait to have this special time with my Daddy. :)

Mother Son Dance

Ross & his Mom will be dancing to Twenty Years Late by David St. Romain. It's another song not many people have heard, but it says everything perfectly. Ross is very close with his Mom, so this will be a special time for them.

The Bouquet Toss

There's a lot of good ones to choose for this...but I think I'm going with "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun". I'm calling all girls, not just the single ones b/c there aren't too many of them left - haha. So "Single Ladies" wouldn't work for that.

The Garter Toss

We're having an adult only reception so we could have a little fun with this one...we're picked Let's Get It On by Marvin Gaye. It's gonna be hilarious to see their faces!

Last Dance

I'm thinking Today Was A Fairytale by Taylor Swift. It's a fun song & I love Taylor Swift! I think it'll end the night on a great note.
